With a sorrowful heart, we announce the passing of our most beloved Gaston Raphael also known as Mix-Me-Down, Kaban, Vieux Kaban or Barry White who completed his earthly journey on Sunday 18th January, 2026 at his residence in Ciceron. He was eighty-six (86) years old.

The Celebration of life service for the late Gaston Raphael better known as Herban or Vieux Kaban will be conducted at the Castries Seventh -Day, Church on High Street on Tuesday 17th February 2026 at 2:00p.m. Interment will follow at the Choc Cemetery, Vigie.

The body now lies at Rambally’s Funeral Parlour, Calvary Road, Castries.
