With sadden hearts we regret to announce the passing of our dearly beloved Theresa Amedee affectionately known as I-Tah or Miss Alisya of Citrus Grove, Laborie who passed away at the St .Jude Hospital on Monday September 8th, 2025. She was 91 years old.

She was predeceased by her husband Augustin Amedee and her two sons Chris and Leslie Amedee

The funeral service of our beloved mother, sister, mentor and friend, Theresa Amedee affectionately known as I-Tah or Miss Alisya of Citrus Grove, Laborie will be held at the Church of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Laborie, on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. and will then be laid to rest at the Laborie Cemetery.

Special Note:

The family wishes to invite attendees thereafter for refreshments at La Papel on the intersection of Kennedy Highway and Testanier Highway Laborie, overlooking Rudy John Beach Park.

Her body now lies at Rambally’s Funeral Parlour, La Tourney, Vieux Fort.
