It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Edward Placide better known as “Goho” or “Teacher Lee” of Kennedy Highway, Laborie. He passed away at the St. Jude’s Hospital on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at approximately 10:00 a.m. He was 68 years old.

The funeral service for the late Edward Placide will be held at the New Life Pentecostal Church in Laborie on Wednesday, September 03, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. there-after his body will be interred at the Laborie Cemetery.

The family of the late Edward Placide wishes to express heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the many prayers, kind words, visits, calls, and other acts of love and support during this time of bereavement. Your presence and comforting gestures have been a source of strength and consolation to us.

His body now lies at Rambally’s Funeral Parlour, La Tourney, Vieux Fort.
