OBITUARIES & CONDOLENCE

Wisdom 3 verse 9: They who trust in him will understand the truth, those who are faithful will live with him in love; for grace and mercy await those he has chosen.

Only for a short while you loaned our dearest mother to us, we pray as you welcome her to live in your embrace that your sweet grace and love overflows her heart with peace. Bless us who mourn her may the memories of her unfold as prayers as we learn to move on without her.

Broken and shattered but with immense love and peace we bid farewell to our gem, our queen, matriarch and beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend Petra Antoine Louis Prospere of Delieu Street, Wingsville Soufriere who was called peacefully to meet the saints on July 29th 2025, at 6:20 p.m. surrounded by her loved ones. Her light dimmed at 74 years.

She will be reunited with her dearest mother Henrietta Alphonse aka Maetta who departed May 1, 2019, her brother Egbert Antoine who departed on June 28 2013, her loving husband Peter Prospere who departed on April 18 2021, her Grandmother Esther Louis in 1987.

Petra was a former employee of the Soufriere Copra Factory.

The Celebration of Petra Prospere’s amazing life will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Soufriere on Thursday, August 28th 2025 at 2:30 p.m. And her body will be laid to repose at her final resting ground at the Soufriere Cemetery

Her body lays in waiting peacefully with the professionals at Rambally’s Funeral Parlour, La Tourney Vieux-Fort.
