With profound sorrow and abiding love, we announce the passing of Simon Samson Recai, fondly known as Boss La, Uncle, Seemòn, and Papi, of Grande Rivière, Dennery. Simon passed away peacefully at his residence on April 15, 2025, at the age of 77.
Simon was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, beloved brother, and loyal friend. He was admired for his incredible work ethic, adventurous spirit, quiet wisdom, and deep devotion to his family and community. His life was one of resilience, compassion, and unwavering love for those around him.
He was preceded in death by;

The funeral service to celebrate the life of Simon Recai will be held on Saturday, May 24th, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dennery Evangelical Church. Thereafter, his body will be laid to rest at the Michael O'Brian Private Cemetery in Vieux Fort.
Though we grieve his passing, we find comfort in celebrating the remarkable life he lived and the countless lives he touched. His memory will live on in our hearts forever.
His body is currently resting at Rambally’s Funeral Parlour, Calvary Road, Castries.
May his soul rest in perfect peace
