It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend Stephanie Evans nee Stephanie St. Helen, also known as “Fafan”, “Steph”, “Fannie Belle”, “San Fan”, daughter of the late Florence Evans, from Laborie, residing at Martin Luther Street, who passed away at her residence on 17.01.2025 at 11.15 a.m. At the time of her passing she was 89 years old, two weeks shy of her 90th birthday.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Confraternity, the Mount Carmel Society as well as the St. Michael Society.

 

She was predeceased by her Son:

Eugene Roy St. Helen

Luc Louis and nephew Callistus St. Helen

The funeral services of the late Stephanie Evans nee Stephanie St. Helen, also known as “Fafan”, “Steph”, “Fannie Belle”, “San Fan”, will be held at the Church of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Catholic Church in Laborie on Thursday, February 20th, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. there after her body will be laid to rest by her cherished loved ones at the Laborie Cemetery.

 

Her body now lies at Rambally’s Funeral Parlour, La Tourney, Vieux Fort.
