It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Mrs. Josephine “Angella” Auguste also known as Ma Lawrence or Ms. Angela of 14 High Street, Soufriere who passed away at the OKEU Hospital on April 6, 2024 at the age of 87.

The funeral service of Mrs. Josephine “Angella” Auguste also known as Ma Lawrence or Ms. Angela will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Soufriere on Monday April 29, 2024 at 2:30pm and the body will be laid to rest at the Michael O’Brian Private Cemetery, Vieux Fort.
Her body now lies at Rambally’s Funeral Parlour, Calvary Road, Castries.

Aunty, I already missed your smile and jolly laugh when you were ill, but now that you are gone, those memories will stay with me. You always had so much energy. You were another one of our lovely Aunties who we had to visit when on holiday in St. Lucia. I will always remember our visits to your home. You had to find something to give us, a mango or two or three, oranges, bananas, juice, anything, and if you didn't have something you would buy us tamarind balls! Those famous words: "children I don't know what I have there to give you". You gave generously and we couldn't help but love you. May you rest in peace. I look forward to the day when we shall see each other again in the earth made new.
